The Haitian Timoun Foundation is hosting the Resurrection Dance Theatre in several locations in the Atlanta area. A full press release is available with details about this remarkable group.
There will be opportunities to buy original Haitian Art, books and CD’s and a free-will offering will be taken. More information on the Haitian Timoun Foundation can be found by going to www.htflive.org.

Who: The Lutheran community joins together in service to help hurting families in our communities. More than 500 Lutherans walked last year raising $69,000! Your participation can help thousands of families who experience poverty.
Why: In Georgia and Metro Atlanta 20.1 percent of children live in poverty – that’s nearly half a million children under age 18. Nearly 1.4 million Georgians (14.7%) are living in poverty. This is the equivalent of 26 sold out games at Turner Field. 11.9 percent, more than one in every ten senior citizens in Metro Atlanta and Georgia, is living in poverty. We need your help to care for struggling families.
How to Get Involved: Our goal is $71,000 from our Lutheran congregations to serve thousands of families in need. To register online go to http://acfb.convio.net/hw_lutheran. If you need materials simply give us a call and we will get you everything you need.
Many congregations and Lutheran programs that feed the hungry (such as food pantries, community kitchens, shelters, afterschool programs and senior centers) count on the Hunger Walk/Run so they can continue to serve those in need. We look forward to seeing you March 14. For more information please contact Robert Jackson at 678.686.9602 or rjackson@lsga.org.
As followers of our Lord, we are instructed to serve others. Volunteer opportunities and community needs are posted here. If your congregation or organization wishes to post a "help wanted" ad, please use the submission form and return to us by email. Thank you.
