Lutheran Night at the Brave 2009

802 Lutherans showed up for the annual Lutheran Night at the Braves which was held on July 22 at Turner Field. The Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Foundation, supporter of this event, presented a check for $60,000 to Lutheran Services of Georgia. The funds will be used to support the development of housing for moderate and low-moderate income senior citizens in Georgia.

The Team Lutheran Singers sang the National Anthem (available on You Tube), Pastor David Sillik threw out the first pitch, and the Lutherans took to the field to march in the traditional "Lutherans on Parade". It was a great night for all!
